Sarah Silverman
The sassy comedian gave some great life advice on Twitter back in April 2011.
"If you don't have enough regret in your life, try cutting bangs," she said.
Nora Ephron
The genius mind that gave us When Harry Met Sally, has shared some sage advice for women, specifically in their twenties.
"Oh, how I regret not having worn a bikini for the entire year I was twenty-six," she said.
"If anyone young is reading this, go, right this minute, put on a bikini, and don’t take it off until you’re thirty-four," she advised in I Feel Bad About My Neck: and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman.
Tina Turner
Tragically, Tina lost her eldest son Craig this week. and before his death, she opened up about wishing she'd seen her children more as they became adults.
She told Vanity Fair in 2011: "I regret not having had more time to spend with my kids when they were growing up."
Kim Kardashian
Despite having made a few memorable clangers in her personal life, most of them document on reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim's biggest regret may come as quite surprising.
Or maybe not.
In an interview with Glamour in 2017, Kim confessed: "One of my biggest photo regrets is when I got engaged, I had the shortest nails when I showed my picture.
"And I was like, ‘Ugh, it would have looked so much better with long nails."
Cher
Despite lived a wild and colourful life, Cher still regrets a few missed opportunities along the way.
Namely two - Marlon Brando and Elvis.
"I regret not meeting him more," she once said of two-time Oscar winner Brando.
And as for the King of Rock: "He called me and wanted me to come up for the weekend, but I was just too nervous.
"I was about to do it, but thought, 'No I don't want to,' and then I regretted it," she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
Chrissy Teigen
When she's not focused on trolling the US president, Chrissy uses her social media voice to provide musings on a whole number of topics - some of which she'd prefer to take back.
The outspoken star told E! news: "I regret things all the time. I've never regretted not saying something. I've only regretted saying something."
Dolly Parton
Despite being one of the coolest godmother's around, including to pop star Miley Cyrus, Dolly never had children herself.
And while the country legend said she used to regret not becoming a mum, now she feels a little differently.
"When my husband and I were dating, and then when we got married, we just assumed we would have kids. We weren’t doing anything to stop it. In fact, we thought maybe we would. We even had names if we did, but it didn’t turn out that way. Now I say, ‘God didn’t mean for me to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine," she told ABC News in 2014.
Carrie Fisher
On a similar note, the late great Carrie Fisher once told the Los Angeles Times she didn't have time for regrets.
"I don't believe in [them]," she said. "I know they’re human and I have them sometimes. But I don’t like to hang out with them. The only stuff I regret is any discomfort I caused someone else.”
