Harvey Weinstein 'Admits To Offering Acting Jobs In Exchange For S*x

Harvey Weinstein has reportedly admitted that he's offered acting jobs in exchange for sex, claiming that everyone did it.

The disgraced movie producer was quoted making the admission during an interview with Spectator USA.

However, TMZ later said that Weinstein's lawyer, Ben Brafman denied he said it. It comes after a string of sexual assault allegations were brought against Weinstein.

But he has denied every single one, and still insists that he has never forced himself on a woman.

However, he's now reportedly made the shocking revelation that he offered acting jobs to women on the understanding that they'd have sex with him.

Speaking to Spectator USA , he's said to have told his interviewer: "You were born rich and privileged and you were handsome. I was born poor, ugly, Jewish and had to fight all my life to get somewhere. You got lotsa girls, no girl looked at me until I made it big in Hollywood.

"Yes, I did offer them acting jobs in exchange for sex, but so did and still does everyone. But I never, ever forced myself on a single woman."

Weinstein did not name anyone in his alleged statement.

Hours later, TMZ said that Mr Brafman had denied his client said any such thing.

The lawyer, who says he was present during the interview, told the US site: "Harvey and Taki [the reporter] did not discuss the case, nor would I allow him to.

"They talked about old Hollywood and the contrast to European culture and I think Taki sees Harvey in that older light. Mr. Weinstein never said anything about trading movie roles for sexual favors."

The site also ran a statement from the reporter who conducted the original interview, who they say issued a statement through Weinstein's lawyer.

Just this week, Weinstein was expected in court to face charges of sexually assaulting a woman in 2006.

It is the third criminal sex assault case brought against him.
