Unemployed Lagosian Accused Of Touching Woman’s Breasts

A 25-year-old unemployed man has been accused of assaulting a woman, Faith Ijiogbe, by repeatedly touching her breasts.

Punch Metro learnt that Kabiru Saka, who resides in the Alagbado area of Lagos State on June 11, begged Ijiogbe to give him a carton of canned drink which accidentally fell off a motorcycle when she was conveying them to her shop.

Saka was said to have run to meet Ijiogbe demanding the carton that fell, saying he wanted to use it as a sacrifice to the gods.


The 25-year-old allegedly touched Ijiogbe’s breast and hit her husband with a weapon when she handed the carton of canned drink to her husband.

According to the Police prosecutor, Dada Wasiu, the complainant’s phone valued at N35,000 was stolen in the process.

Saka was arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court on Thursday on three counts of assault, indecent act and stealing.

He pleaded not guilty to the offences.

According to Wasiu, the offences violated sections 134, 173 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
