This is the face of an eight-month old baby girl who has died in Gaza after breathing in toxic fumes from a tear gas canister.
Medics could not save the life of Lila Anwar, who was caught up in the violent mass protest yesterday.
At the Gaza hospital where her body was being prepared for burial, her grandmother said the child was at one of the tented protest encampments that have been set up a few hundred yards inside the border.
"We were at the tent camp east of Gaza when the Israelis fired lots of tear gas," Heyam Omar said.
"Suddenly my son cried at me that Lolo was weeping and screaming. I took her further away.
"When we got back home, the baby stopped crying and I thought she was asleep.
"I took her to the children's hospital and the doctor told me she was martyred (dead)."
Lila's tragic death brought the number of people killed in yesterday's protests to 59.
More than 40,000 people took to the streets of Gaza to demonstrate against the controversial opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem
