Ambode approved the construction of the bridge after an inspection of the ongoing construction of Pen Cinema Flyover, where he observed the need to holistically address the gridlock in the Agege-Iju area.
He said the approval was in response to the yearnings of the communities in the Fagba areas and other road users and also in furtherance of his administration’s commitment to ensuring free flow of traffic across the state.
